Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2025 between the National Museum of Natural Sciences (NMNS) and Nagoya University Museum, Japan, a joint exhibition on the theme of “Minerals” has been successfully organized and made available to the public at the Nagoya University Museum.
The exhibition, which will run from June 2, 2026 to October 17, 2026, is planned to be organized in Mongolia, at the National Museum of Natural Sciences, in 2027. Within the framework of this work, the Director of the NMNS, Dr. N. Manchuk, and the Head of the Pre-Operation Administration of the NMNS, General T. Badral are working in Japan.
During their assignment, they met with the management of the Nagoya City Science Museum and Nagoya University Museum and exchanged views on strengthening human resources in the sector and training museum curators in Japan. This cooperation between the parties is of great importance for increasing the heritage protection of the science and museum sectors of the two countries, strengthening the research base, and raising the capacity of the personnel to the international level.
