Dear Naadamists!
What kind of footprint are we leaving on our mother earth when we travel through the beautiful lands of our mother nature and seek peace of mind and health? It is our greatest responsibility as travelers to preserve our beautiful nature, clean air, and pristine places as they are and pass them on to future generations. We urge you all to make eco-friendly, healthy travel a habit!
5 steps to a positive journey:
Take back what you took: Leave only good memories from every place you visit, and make it a habit to put all kinds of waste, such as plastic bottles, cigarette butts, mouthwashes, and organic waste, in bags and bring them back to the designated point.
Completely refuse single-use plastic: By taking reusable water bottles, cups, spoons, forks, and cloth bags with you on your trip, you will protect mother earth from a huge amount of plastic waste.
Healthy Food — Healthy Energy: Choose quality, healthy, and natural foods over processed, packaged ready-made products. This is not only good for your body, but also reduces waste.
Reduce the risk of fire: When lighting an open fire, be sure to follow safety precautions and learn how to extinguish it completely. Since burnt ash also affects the environment, we encourage you to use special travel gas and stoves.
Respect local people and the environment: Do not cut wild plants and flowers, do not chase animals, and strictly follow local culture and modern eco-rules.
Let's enrich our souls and leave only traces of our journey behind us!
May you all have a good journey, be in touch with nature, and travel healthy and waste-free!
May the people of Mongolia have a great holiday.
