THE MUSEUM IS LOOKING FOR STAFF TO LEARN AND DEVELOP TOGETHER
The Mongolian National Museum of Natural Sciences is inviting energetic and professional staff who will contribute to the protection of natural and cultural heritage, expansion of research, enrichment of the collection, and public awareness for the following open positions.
OPEN POSITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Geologist - Researcher
Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, petrology, and mineralogy.
Proficient in developing research documents, research methodology, and interested in paleontology and natural heritage research.
Adequate knowledge of foreign languages, and ability to work with MS Office and research programs.
2. Marketing Manager
Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, PR, Business Administration.
Experience in cultural creative production, brand product development, and digital marketing.
Ability to plan posters, videos, and interesting content, manage social media, and organize events.
Ability to create, innovate, and implement marketing activations that are appropriate for the museum's characteristics.
3. Legal Advisor Lawyer, Bachelor's degree or higher in Law (passing the Lawyer's selection is an advantage).
Advanced knowledge of civil, labor, state, museum, and cultural heritage laws, and experience in drafting contracts.
Ability to control official documents and documents, and conduct risk assessments.
4. Treasurer Studied finance and accounting or completed treasurer's specialization training.
Ability to accurately maintain inventory and basic financial records, and be responsible for property.
Fluent in accounting and Excel programs.
5. Restorer: Higher education in cultural heritage restoration, fine arts, chemistry or related fields.
Possesses methods for preserving and restoring museum exhibits, collections and artifacts, and chemical-physical procedures.
Accurate, dexterous, and focused on detailed work.
6. Taxidermist: Specialized in biology, zoology or special skills.
Knowledge of animal anatomy, experience in taxidermy or restoration / artist is an advantage /
Ability to work at the intersection of art and biology, and manual dexterity.
7. Ticket dispenser: Complete secondary education or higher.
Experience working in a service organization is an advantage, and has a high level of communication skills.
Ability to quickly make cash and non-cash payments, work on POS machines and ticket systems, and maintain communication and service standards.
8. Exhibitor with secondary education or higher.
Monitor the safety of the museum hall, the integrity of the exhibits, communicate well, and serve the audience ethically.
Maintain professional ethics and be responsible.
